Day 118 - That Infamous Portland Sign

You probably have noticed some of my images of late are textured. I really like them because they add excitement to otherwise boring blank spaces. This lower image is not so much a texture as it is an accident. I was showing Tim how to add a texture with this picture of bricks already opened in photoshop. I had no intention of using it, but it looked so cool (I think) I had to use it.

I think the bricks are an awesome touch. Hope you had a good time on your trip.

I love the angle of the first one allot. Really neat.

You should maybe try like a week/month with out any photoshop on you blog images. I just think that would be something new you could try.
Your photoshop skills are really cool and good, but sometimes it can get (for me any way) kind of old always seeing "edited" photos on here. Just an idea. I really like your photos none the less though.

Tim - These particular images are supposed to look photoshopped. I personally don't think the rest of my non-textured look obviously photoshopped. I am willing to try a variation on your idea for a few days - maybe two pictures: one with the normal darkroom process, and one without anything, including the watermark.

Does anyone else share Tim's feelings that my images look overly photoshopped?
