I have no idea what is in the second picture. It was just stuck up on the side of a building. I shot it through a chain-link fence, which makes it kind of blurred.
Sharpness-wise, it is impossible to replicate a steady hand and optical lens sharpness in photoshop. When I am shooting a still life in my house, I use a tripod. If I am out shooting somewhere else, I shoot at shutter speeds of 1/200 or faster. Most of the time, I must increase my ISO to get a shutter speed like that, though. This post and the above post were handheld, but the carnations picture was on a tripod.

What is in the second picture though?
Do you photoshop your pictures or something? They always seem so sharp...
I'm trying to get back into posting once a day on my photography blog :) Just so you know...
